fine views and easy access to charming spots
the proximity to beautiful landmarks like the Parrocchia di Limone sul Garda, just a 10-minute walk away, was a highlight, and exploring the lovely waterfront at Hafen Limone, less than a 15-minute stroll, made our stay even more nice.

Nice evening buffet and great breakfast. Food was not the best but there was plenty of it!
Could not check in till 17.00 and had to check out by 10.00 sharp so we had no time to enjoy the hotel's facilities like the indoor pool.

Oh, my taste buds were dancing at La Cantina del Baffo! The local flavors were nice. The dual pools were a blast for the kids, and we had a spacious room with bunk beds that really worked for our family. Plus, the buffet breakfast had enough variety to keep everyone satisfied each morning.
The only hiccup was the noisy air conditioning that buzzed like a swarm of bees outside our window, but what can you say? The view made up for it, and we managed to catch some z's anyway!

Very clean, nice area , well looked after. Good choice of food in the restaurant but could be bussy on Saturday/Sunday. Beautiful lake views from the room if you lucky enough.
Doesn't feels like 4 stars hotel, noisy ventilation from nearby hotel ( at least switched off at night time ) and non working own airconditioning, luckily not required in October.

spacious room and bathroom, great view
The heating was not running during the first few days, later it got ok. You had to pay for the jacuzzi to turn it on, and its water was cold. No free wifi, and the choice for breakfast was mediocre. Carpet and bedcover did not match at all -- rather funny than uncomfortable.

The views were fine. The pool areas were perfect for relaxation. Staff were wonderful, even going out of their way to serve us a good cold platter when the restaurant opened early just for us. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day.

View to Lago di Garda is very nice
Booking offered week with full board which was actually all inclusive holiday (type of you would expect by sea). I was very dissapointed with hotel quality , room size, food quaility and selection and not enought parking places near by hotel. I had to pay all cost during check in We end up by cutting 1 day from week as we had enough. There are much much better places around Garda lake then this one. I would never come back to this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Food is of a high standard and staff very efficient. Taxi service to village centre was very good. A great holiday destination. Would stay at Royal Village again without hesitation.
Would be nice if all-inclusive drinks were not turned off quite so promptly at 8.30, even If you were still eating. Outdoor pool very cold - but as it was very hot weather when we stayed it wasn't too much of a problem.

It was reasonably priced/good value for money. Nice views. All-in package was good value as the food was plentiful and had a nice variety. The staff in the Restaurant were quite welcoming and helpful at all times.
1. Much too far out of the village - a very steep walk up-hill in 35C of heat. O.K. walking down hill but quite another story walking back! 2. Hotel Mini-bus was an option to get to the village at the cost of 1 euro each way p/p but this depended on numbers as it could only take 7 people per trip plus the last pick-up was at 10.00p.m. 3. The Hotel is split into various blocks and you are continually crossing a roadway to access the dining facilities/swimming pool. Could be dangerous for young children without supervision. 4. No life-guards on either of the two swimming pools. Guests allowed to place their towels on the sun-beds from early morning to reserve which I found quite annoying. The lack of supervision or instigation of the rules around the pool meant it was very noisy and a lot of boisterous behaviour in the bigger swimming pool. 5. Reception staff very poor. Gave little or no information on arrival - just figure things out for yourself!! Didnt get back to us when we queried availability of a bigger room. Our room was very clean but very basic. It was also quite small for three adults and the bathroom was really tiny. Decor certainly needs updating. 6. The staff in the bar area really need to get some induction training with regard to dealing with guests. The first thing they need to learn is "how to smile and try to look like they enjoy their job"- What a nightmare seeing the face of Nadine every night, she made us feel like we were totally outcasts and all we were doing was ordering our drinks!!! Do these staff not understand that it should be part of their jobs to make people feel welcome so that they might return and even might recommend it to their friends??

Stunning views from the balcony made my stay absolutely worthwhile. The pools were fantastic and immaculately clean, perfect for relaxation. The local market at the top of the hill was a pleasant surprise, adding to the overall experience. Although the walk from the center was steep, the incredible views compensated for the effort. I can't wait to return!
